Jeff and I arrived in London at about 5:50 on Thursday morning. The flight wasn't very long but of course Jeff had some guy laying down in his lap so he was uncomfortable. We were very happy to get off the plane and make it smoothly through the airport in Heathrow with our bags coming off at baggage claim almost immediately. It rarely happens like that so we were very lucky.
Unfortunately Mom had to go to work when we got back home...poor Mom. We hated to be without her. Dad, Jeff and I walked up to the high street and had breakfast and coffee at Costa's - this is where we took these jetlag pictures...we look rough, don't we?
The weather is actually quite chilly here right now. During our walk it was very windy and we definitely had some chill bumps. We didn't bring too many things that are long sleeved so we may be doing laundry a few times unless it warms up.
So after we went for our walk we came back and took about a 2 1/2 hour nap. We usually don't do that when we travel here but I had to get a little shut eye to prepare for the Linkin Park concert. Then we woke up, took showers and got ready to go... Linkin Park is in the next post.
