Blue Skies in our room

Today Jeff and I continued our weekend of spontaneity and painted our bedroom. It was a boring shade of tan before and we decided to something different and chose a shade of blue that actually has a little more gray in it than shows up in the pictures. Our thoughts are to add brown and white accents/accessories but that will take time and a "shopping plan". Here you see Jeff hard at work painting/watching Nascar - doesn't he look guilty? You can also see what a mess our room was while the painting was in progress. On the "after" picture you can see the new duvet cover that we got at Ikea yesterday (brown with some white dots) - I will probably find some blue pillows, etc. to make it look fluffy. We're not sure if we're 100% in love with the color but we will live with it for a while and see if it grows on us.
