Jeff and I just got back from a full-fledged vacation. This was our first vacation since way before I decided to go back to school. We are talking YEARS. We have been planning this trip for over a year now and it was definitely overdue. We took a 7 day cruise to Nassau, Bahamas, St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands and St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles. It was awesome.
We did a lot of lounging around, taking naps, eating whatever we wanted, talking and day-dreaming about what our next vacation with Lily will be like, dressing up for fancy dinners and just plain being adventurous. We took an excursion in St. Maarten which was called "Scenic Coastal Hike". It actually should have been called "Hike along some very steep cliffs with dangerous water below". It was beautiful. We really, really needed this trip.
