Family Reunion

Jeff and I had the pleasure of attending his family reunion this past weekend and got to see some of his peeps that we hadn't seen in a good while. It was nice and a good reminder of the great history of Jeff's family and the richness of his heritage. Some things that come to my mind when I think of spending time with my extended in-laws....fantastic, heart pounding singing, lots of hugging and talk about old times and people that have passed, barbecue and cream cakes, kids running around in the grass playing and catching lightning bugs.... I absolutely can't wait to introduce Lily to the family and watch them kiss her little cheeks. She will be so blessed.
