The Mac-Daddy of all car seats

As I sense our referral inching closer, I find myself wandering the aisles of Target (or other stores) assessing the baby necessities...including carseats. This is one thing that I have read you should absolutely not skimp on and I plan to do it up right when the time comes to make a purchase. After all, we haven't waited years and years to be parents to put our wee one in any kind of danger in the car or otherwise.

So today while wandering, I came across this entire display advertising this mac-daddy of car seats which is not only safe but actually has side impact air cushion protection. It actually has little air bags on the side of where the little one's head would be. Pretty cool, huh?!?
It is pretty costly but, as I said before, this is one item that we will break the bank on. Right now, I have it narrowed to this one or a Britax model. One thing that I have found in the reviews that make this a good option is that it can be rear facing for a child up to 40 lbs...and rear-facing car seats provide the most protection in a crash. I hate to say it but if you have ridden in a car with my husband, then this would be muy importante.
