Friends

I have re-connected with a couple of old friends lately and I have to say that it is nice. I have always said that I am kind of a loner who doesn't need a lot of friends and that is true to a good extent but...it is also nice to have people in my life who choose to be there just because they like or liked something about me. My family is fantastic but they are forced to deal with me, right?? I hope they don't really feel that way but it's true - I force myself on them and they don't have a choice in the matter :).

So now I have re-connected with a few people from high school, college (my 10 year reunion is coming up next month - YES I am that old) and from my early working days (Jeff - don't worry they are ALL female - ha ha). Those weren't all great years for me but I knew great people then and I want to still know them now...so I will. I really am blessed to have such a great family and, in the big picture, I have some great friends also who are more than worth my time because, in return, they give me so much more than I even realized.
