Going out is not something we have done much since Lily has joined us. Jeff and I just don't want to do anything without her and we just don't have the chance to do much going out as a trio. A few of my co-workers have left in the past couple of months and we had a going away dinner for one of them (a very special Karen) a few weeks ago. We packed up our wee one and went to a hibachi restaurant...
It was so nice to spend some time with my co-workers outside of the hospital. They are some amazing people. Unfortunately two of the four below are no longer spending their days on 5 main with me and the other, Haley, works night shift. So maybe we need to plan more hibachi nights, hmmmm.
Jeff tagged along, not knowing he would be the only man there. He was a good sport.
Lily had a good time flirting with Haley's son, Noah. So cute.
And the night ended with a cake and singing for my birthday...along with an announcement to the whole restaurant that I am now 36. What happened to the days when they just sang without asking your age?!?!
It was a fun night with a fearless Lily. The fire and noise of the hibachi didn't phase her one bit.
