I can't believe I ate the whole thing

Last weekend Jeff and I took a little trip to Tunica, MS to feed our faces and such. Who would have ever known that the Paula Deen Buffet at Harrah's has a full day pass that lets you come and go as many times as you want to enjoy the all-you-can-eat gluttony?!?

For real, during our 48 hour stay we worked our way through ribs, fried fish, fried and boiled shrimp, pulled pork with Paula's special spicy and sweet sauces, squash casserole, yams, cabbage, rice, hoe-cakes, cheese biscuits, sugar-free and non-sugar-free pie and cake and more. I seriously enjoyed it but also seriously didn't need it as I already feel my super big scrubs stretching at the seams.

So of course this week I vowed to eat carrots with my home-made lunches and that lasted all of one day until I got super exhausted by the working cycle. And then Thanksgiving was upon us... Needless to say, I am full of cellulite that has GOT to go.

So thanks Paula Deen...I loved your butter-filled food but it can't beat me. And I may see you again some day but not for a long while... Until then, I will dream of hoe-cakes and cheese biscuits.
